New types of communication devices have come into use recently. For example, a lot of people use smart phones, such as iPhone or Blackberry. Or, iPad that cannot classify definitely has been edging up in popularity. And these new devices have changed the way we communicate daily. Unlike a land line, we can call someone whenever and wherever we want. What's more, not only calling, we can send messages via these phones.
There are also new types of communication tools. One of the most popular tools is Twitter. As is well known, Twitter can send a 140-character message (called "Tweet") publicly and communicate other users. Using Twitter, we can make friends with unknown people rather casually than other existing tools.
With the advent of these devices and tools, our communication style has changed. But the one thing that hasn't changed is languages. Without languages, we cannot communicate with other people. In the Internet age, it's very important to use some languages properly. If we cannot do that, it may lead to misunderstanding because we have to convey messages only with language, not with gesture or other means through the Internet.
